If you buy a new copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 after it is released next month, you'll get a "VIP Code" which allows access to the game's DLC. The "VIP Code" is tied to your EA.com account seperate from either Xbox Live or PSN. Once you enter the code, you'll be able to go the in-game store to access DLC for Bad Company 2 which will include free multiplayer maps the day of the game's release.
Those who purchase the game new will receive a VIP code which can be entered online to unlock these new maps for free. For those other people, who do not get the game new, but want the maps you will be able to purchase them for 15 bucks. PC players look to be receiving the maps as a game update. With these two maps it will bring the total number of multi-player maps to ten.
